  I was misdiagnosed with TUBERCULOSIS here today! As part of applying to nursing school, I was required to do a TB screening. This is a very standard procedure, and administered regularly by medical and health care professionals. Obviously people working in hospitals and nursing homes must undergo this test quite often, as they are at higher risk for infection. So to my complete surprise, both a nurse and a D.O. diagnosed me with freaking tuberculosis when I came in for my evaluation today. I was horrified. And as if this weren't bad enough, these two geniuses decided to discuss my medical status very loudly 20 feet away from me, for almost the entire clinic to hear. Mortifying! I was then carted into an exam room and informed that it would cost me 90 dollars for a chest X-Ray to confirm my diagnosis, and 30 dollars for something else. For the next hour I tried really hard not to panic, while 2 other people came in to see me about my symptoms (I had none), and getting the X-Ray done. The D.O. then came in to inform me in a nonchalant tone that my lungs looked fine and I didn't have to visit the health care department after all. As an afterthought she said "Oh no, sweetie, you don't have TB. I read the parameters for your diagnosis wrong." It took you 8 or so years of school to tell me this!?!?!?!?! I could have googled it and gotten the answer faster (which I did!) I absolutely lost my cool and started crying. The D.O., as well as some rude nurse told me I didn't need to cry, I was healthy after all. REALLY?!?!?!?! YOU TOLD ME I HAVE TUBERCULOSIS! I THOUGHT MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WERE AT RISK! THOUGHT I COULD KISS NURSING SCHOOL GOODBYE! ALL BECAUSE YOU CAN'T READ!?!? I WILL CRY IF I FEEL LIKE IT! SCREW YOU PEOPLE, AND YOUR NONEXISTENT BEDSIDE MANNER! Oh yeah, don't go here!

  My wife and I have used this Care Now location for years. We use it when our regular doctors' offices are closed. The doctors at Care Now are great-- patient, excellent "bed side" manners - good listeners. They never rush you. The location is very convenient, and their online "appointment" process is very efficient. Recently, I saw Angela, a Physicians Assistant. She was excellent: asked good questions, and quickly identified my issues. She provided good treatment. My wife an I love this Care Now location, and its staff and doctors.

  CareNow is always there for me when my own doctors office is closed or I cannot get in to see my own doctor quick enough. The doctors and PAs are awesome and always help me feel better quickly. All staff are very accommodating.

  I was very impressed from beginning to end with my experience at CareNow. The web check-in feature allowed me to sign in online, provide all my details and then wait at home to be called in. This was key since I could resume my work day until I could actually see someone. They had called me a couple times before as well to validate some information. Everyone was also very nice and welcoming including the front desk, nurse and PA. I will not hesitate to visit urgent care again. Great/speedy service is rare in the medical industry.
